In honor of our home watershed, the McKenzie River – and all the other watershed that help us create beer – we’ve crafted a hazy extra pale ale brewed with all Oregon-grown ingredients to create a beautifully hazy beer erupting with notes of sweet fruit, pine, and citrus.

We decided that a beer celebrating Oregon needed to be brewed with all Oregon-grown ingredients, all farmed using water from one of Oregonโ€™s great watersheds. The grain used was 100% Mecca Grade Estate Malt grown in Madras, OR by the Klann Family. The three experimental hop varieties we used in our hazy pale ale โ€“ Anchor, McKenzie WCHB 148, and WCHB 2B โ€“ were grown by Pay Leavy of Oregon Hophouse, a certified organic farm and the first certified organic hop farm in Oregon. Being able to focus on such local ingredients served as inspiration for a fresh and bright beer, crisp and reminiscent of the McKenzie River itself. With this beer, we are hoping to showcase and celebrate all the bounty that Oregon has to offer.
