Makisupa Haze Double Hazy IPA
Makisupa Haze brings back one of our favorite hazy hoppy creations. This Double IPA was brewed with heaps of malted and rolled oats for that quintessential pillowy soft mouthfeel. We pummel the wort in the kettle with Simcoe and Mosaic Hop Oil, Mosaic and Citra Incognito oil, as well as New Zealand grown Motueka and Moutere in the Whirlpool. After fermenting with our favorite hazy yeast strain we quadruple dry-hopped this beast with more Moutere, New Zealand Nelson Sauvin, and northwest grown Talus and Sabro.
Presented with a milky hazy orange hue and tight white head that seems to never dissipate; you are first greeted by an explosive aroma of fresh cut coconut flesh, apricot, peach, tropical fruit medley; finishing with that sweet sweet dankness. The beer floats pillowy-soft across the mouth upon first sip, as wave after wave of fresh papaya, candied mango, passionfruit and berry CBD gummies ripple along the palate. Thick hop oil coats the mouth throughout, leading to an all-encompassing desire for another sip. Finishing slightly dry and with hops a plentiful.
