Off Piste Pale Ale at Oakshire

As the brewers at Oakshire get ready for 2012 they have released one last single batch beer to finish off the year.  On a quick side note our single batch beer total for 2011 is in excess of 40 different beers made under the Single Batch Label.  Nice work Matt, Joe J, Dana, Terry and Joe G!

Off Piste Pale ale is named for one of our favorite pastimes, Pacific Northwest snow skiing.  Now if only the weather would honor our desires and give us some snow!!  Piste is a marked trail or ski run down a mountain.   Off Piste skiing, back country skiing or off trail skiing all describe the act of intentionally choosing to follow your favorite snow line down a slope.  At 5.5% ABV with the crisp clean flavor of a Pacific Northwest Style Pale Ale this beer will be a great companion after a day of skiing. Flavored with Zythos, Centennial, Cascade, and Nugget hops, this beer is sure to appeal to everyone enjoying the beautiful place that we live!   Have a happy New Year from everyone at Oakshire Brewing.
