Oakshire Thanks……..and Single Batch Beer Update!

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us here at Oakshire -that includes the chickens in the hen house next door to the brewery!  We will be taking the day off from brewing beer, selling beer, promoting beer, and accounting for beer to spend the day with friends and family.   It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to make beer here in Oregon and we are continually thankful to you all for buying and drinking Oakshire beer.  Our brewery just celebrated its fifth anniversary this past October and we have you fine folks to thank for keeping us in business!   A special thanks to Washington state residents who are also faithfully staring to drink Oakshire beers as we work with our distributors to spread our craft into another state.  Most sincere and copious thanks from all fourteen of us here at the brewery, we hope you have a splendid, bliss filled day!

The brewery will be closed Thanksgiving day, Thursday November 24th but we will open again on Friday for pint sales from 3-6pm and Saturday for tours and tastings 12-4pm.  We will have live music on Saturday from 1-3pm and a food cart in case you are tired of left overs.

And now finally an update on our upcoming single batch beers………………….Matt VW and his crew have been busy crafting some holiday themed beers for release early December including the Very Ill Tempered Gnome as well as a brand new beer called the Nutcracker (imperial gingerbread porter).  Look for more details to follow on these beers.
