Learn to Brew Day at Oakshire – Saturday, November 5th

In conjunction with the American HomeBrewers Association, Oakshire is partnering with our local Cascade Brewers Society and hosting “Teach a Friend to Brew Day”.  Brewery doors will open early at 10am and brewers will be set up and begin brewing at that time.  This is an informal demonstration day with nine brewing stations set up.  Stay for an hour or the whole day if interested.  Oakshire will be open for tastings and tours from 10-4pm that day and it is a great chance to see our newly remodeled tasting room and sample some of the ten beers on tap.  We will also have live music that day from 1-3pm.  There is no need to register for the event, we will have plenty of room.  Feel free to bring your own lunch, a rain jacket and remember a notebook and pencil for taking notes.

Brandt Weaver: Winter Ale w/ Safir Hops

Joan Trejo: Brown Ale
Dan and Shawn Potts: Dry Stout
Louise Parker: Cascade Honey Ale

Danielle Anderson: Extract American Wheat fermented on Wild peaches

Sandy Beal: Hot Pepper Ale
-Jerimiah Mardsen and John Kelly: Belgian Tripel
