We’re off to Denver and the GABF

It’s that time of year again to head eastward and enjoy the Great American Beer Festival. This year, Joe Jasper – Production manager and head brewer at Oakshire, is trying his hand and judging beers.   Something I have done for the last 4 years.   GABF is the largest beer festival and competition in the country. If you recall, we were lucky enough to win a silver medal for Overcast Espresso Stout at the 2009 GABF. It’s very competitive as 3500+ beers will be judged in the next three days. We hope to receive awards again as we send the following beers:

Oakshire Amber
Overcast Espresso Stout
Land Trust Lager
Black Wolf Schwarzbier
Axe of Perun Baltic Porter
Hellshire I
Little Smokey
Triple Bottom Line
Harvest Ale
Frederic’s Lost Arm

The first five listed will be pouring on the festival floor, and yes some of those are saved beers and not remade again, so don’t go asking for them at the tasting room (which just got a fresh coat of paint. It looks fabo!)

Wish us luck at the GABF this year as we try to do it again.
Cheers!
Matt
