Events at the brewery and away this week!

Welcome back summer – it is the week of July 25th and it is beginning to feel a bit more like the blessed summer we all know and love! In honor of the reemergence of that bright ball in the sky, Oakshire will host the band Dirty Spoon on Friday in our tasting room from 4-6pm. Bring your friends, dogs, kids and family out to the tasting room for a little bit of jug band rymes and a pint or two of Oakshire beers.

For those of you who may be feeling motivated join the Oakshire crew out in our garden Saturday morning from 9am-11am for a bit of garden work. We are hoping to mulch our fruit trees, cut down some black berries, plant for the fall and tear down the grass berm that has been boardering the garden since last season. This is a great time to meet the brewery chickens and bees and see our emerging hop vines! Bring an empty growler and we will gladly fill it with your favorite Oakshire beer to thank those who came to help. Work begins at9am and meet in the garden next door to the brewery. The Oakshire Tasting room will also play host to Manouche Noir this Saturday from 1-3pm, their blend of gypsy jazz is beguiling and always a treat to listen to. Grab a crowd and come on out, remember we are cash or check only here at Oakshire.

Lastly, various members of the Oakshire staff will be up in Portland drinking at the Oregon Brewers Festival . Oakshire will be serving a citrus Kolsch this year that may go quickly!
