Variety really is the spice of life.

I was sampling a bourbon barrel beer today and I decided to stop and think of how many beers we have brewed this year and how many we have on our radar. Here’s a list to jog your memory (and mine):

Year Round:

Watershed IPA

Overcast Espresso Stout

Oakshire Amber

Oakshire Wheat

Frog’s Wort (for Cornucopia in Eugene)

Seasonals:

ESB

Line Dry Rye

Fresh Hop Series (Harvest, Cascade Conundrum, and Red Nugget)

Ill Tempered Gome

Perfect Storm (At our brewery it is a double IPA)

Next Spring’s Seasonal (on the drawing board now)

One-Offs:

Glen’s Hop Vice

Very Ill Tempered Gnome

Scotch Ale (in fermentation now)

Baltic Porter (on the schedule)

Lager (in planning)

Collaboration Beer for KLCC fest (coming in Feb)

Barrel Aging Program:

Bourbon Barrel IPA

Bourbon Barrel Stout

Cerise Noir (wheat with organic cherries in Oregon Pinot Barrel)-just carbonated

Bourbon aged Collaborative Evil-kegging tomorrow

Berliner Weisse-aging in Pinot barrels

Flemish Sour-Brett doing work right now.

Wine barrel aged Collaborative Evil (some with Brett, some without)

Pinot Noir aged Very Ill Tempered Gnome

Dang! That’s a lot in the last 8 months only. We have more on the way too. But instead of letting all those cats out of the bag, let’s just say that 2010 has a lot in store for Oakshire Brewing. And you’ll be pleasantly surprised, I think. Stay tuned!

Cheers!
