Wow, a lot has happened in two short months at Oakshire. I rolled into Eugene April 1st and the whirlwind has not slowed down and really doesn’t appear to be any time soon. In that time we have installed 3 30 barrel fermentors, moved our cooler to the new addition, and moved two bright tanks as well. We have debuted two different Imperial IPAs, Introduced our spring AND summer seasonals, and are now looking towards the Great American Beer Festival. We have filled two bourbon barrels and we are ready to purchase ten wine barrels later this week. Wow! Say that’s enough. Well, the 30 barrel fermentors aren’t quite enough actually and we have an 80 barrel fermentor on the way. That should help us with the bottling project which we hope to roll out by the end of July. Look for Watershed IPA and Overcast Espresso Stout before the calendar hits August. Also, we have a new keg washer being built in Southern California and should move to straight sided sankey kegs in about a month. And if that’s not enough, it seems like we’ll be at a beer festival nearly every weekend this summer. Don’t slow down, you just might get run over!
A Look back on 60 days and a look ahead as well.
